use2alone Appreciates its acoustics and instrumentations. It will be great if there's a remastered version. Outstanding tracks: All the Staring in the World won't Hurt Me, Unfamiliar Straps & Locks, and Men with Long Fingernails. Thank you!

Graham Blacksmith Sister Solitude is beautifully intimate, vulnerable, mature, playful, dark and yet hopeful. Master Harker’s wistful folk melodies and poetry explore humour and melancholy, often at the same time, with an always-appealing heartfelt warmth. There’s more than a hint of Elliott Smith or Nick Drake to these homespun harmonies, making this bittersweet marmade a genuine treat for the senses!

Eyes rolling, tongues wagging. Minds closing, walls forming. It's all happening again. It's rearing it's ugly head and then... All the staring in the world won't help me, but won't hurt me. All the staring in the world won't hurt me. With minds closing, I'm locked inside. With walls forming I'm left outside It's all happening again. It's rearing it's ugly head and then... All the staring in the world won't help me, but won't hurt me. All the staring in the world won't hurt me.

My ears have switched off, but my mind's still turned on. I can see mouths moving along and I know that I don't belong. I'm hit with sound, I'm hit with noise. I don't want to play with all the girls and all the boys. I'm quiet, in a world that shouts. I'm tired, so please let me out

Always laughing, but never smiling... the Lizard Laugh Baring your teeth, but never taking a breath, the Lizard Laugh Don't think you can shed your skin like lizards can like lizards can Always hanging, waiting for the time to whip your tongue, the lizard lash. Waiting for the poison, to run it's course and then you have... a lizard lunch Don't think you can paralyse this dog, like lizards can like lizards can Don't think you can paralyse this dog, like lizards can like lizards can And... Don't think you can scuttle far from me, 'cos lizards can't

This time, is different to any other time, gone. This time is the end, so don’t pretend we walk out from this one. Building up for so long, we had the time to catch our breath and wait for a while. Building up for so long, all the false alarms, but this time feels wrong. We wait by the clock, tick-tock tick-tock. Then glass will turn into sand. This time is the end; it’s goodnight, goodbye, we can’t walk out from this one. Building up for so long, we had the time to catch our breath and wait for a while. Building up for so long, all the false alarms, but this time feels wrong.

If I could travel back to before I messed up and change the course, some for the better, some for the worse. And some good some bad things would cease to be, but the best perk for me would be... that I wouldn’t have to meet you and we’d finally be through

Slow Release 02:18
For years and years, with fears and fears; years and years and years and years, with fears and fears and fears and fears, years and years with tears and tears, with tears and tears and tears. Your power starts to fade, feeling inner peace, it hits me nice and softly, like a slow release. Your grip, it starts to loosen, feeling inner peace, it hits me nice and softly, like a slow release. Shame and pain. Shame and pain. Shame and pain and shame and pain Shame and blame and shame and pain Shame and pain and shame and blame Shame and blame and pain. Your power starts to fade, feeling inner peace, it hits me nice and softly, like a slow release. Your grip, it starts to loosen, feeling inner peace, it hits me nice and softly, like a slow release.

In a euphoric wilderness, not, feeling loneliness... Withdraw and sing-a-long, solitary songs. Wishing the days were long with: Sister Solitude with Sister Solitude. Withdraw and sing-a-long, solitary songs. Wishing the days were long with: Sister Solitude with Sister Solitude

I’m lost in a maze of misery. I’m stuck in a hell of my history. I need to find a way out of here. I want all that stuff to just disappear. I’m gonna forget... but, just, not yet! I’m lost in a maze of misery. I’m stuck in a hell of my history. I’m gonna forget... but, just, not yet! I’m gonna forget... I’m gonna forget... just not yet!

If you envy me, you can have the lot. You can have all the shit that I've got Can you climb inside my head? Can you see from behind my eyes? Can you jump into my mouth? Can't you see there's nothing to despise? Living your life without joy, whay you envy you destroy. And you don't understand and you won't sympathize. You can't watch the world without... ignorant eyes

Waking from your slumber, as the dawn breaks through. You should remember me, but you don’t, do you? Feel your eyes red and running, that was, my gift to you. You don’t know how or why I do the things I do. I live in the darkest place where you can’t go I sleep while you’re awake until it’s time to start the show.

about

No vocal effects of any kind were used on this album, just a microphone, two lips, two lungs and one tongue. Absolutely no guitar pedals, effects, sequencers or programs were used either.

This album has been two years in the making. It includes tracks about autism, judgement, introversion, fakery, gossip, solitude, fear & paranoia, abuse, sleep disturbance, indulging too much in your emotions, envy and daydreams about time-travel!
Also included are a number of instrumentals, the titles of which are some of Master Harker's (and those close to him) anxieties, including, 'Unfamiliar Straps & Locks', ‘Being marooned at a wedding', 'Big Hairy Spiders', 'Men with long fingernails' and 'Death By Sundial'.

Bonus Items with the album: Five mp4 Bonus Tracks: Toxic Chain, Bully Thank-You, Sister Solitude (The Punk Version), I Dream of Sentient Carrots and Concise History of Sexual Boasting (Sex Tails) Plus Photos of Master Harker, musical instruments, artwork and lyric scribblings.
